We were contacted by our Groton clients during the very early stages of the design process. They owned an antique home near the town center that had a small, old kitchen with no room to grow. The clients were open to the option of moving the kitchen to another area of the home to accommodate a larger kitchen with a mudroom, laundry, and Butler's pantry. One of the requirements was to incorporate the large brick fireplace and make it feel as if it was part of the kitchen forever. We worked with our client's general contractor with the implementation of this project. The contractor created the overall general space with the layout we provided. We assisted the client with the selection of all the finishes which they purchased from us. Jim Regan did the cabinet installation and created many of the custom features in the space. The white kitchen cabinets are by Shiloh Cabinetry. The custom island is by Elmwood Kitchens in walnut wood.
