Meet The Team
Mary graduated from Arapahoe Community College with a Degree of Applied Science in Interior Design with a focus in kitchen and bath design. Since 1994, she has been working in the area of kitchen design. Starting her career in the mid-West, Mary designed kitchens for ‘The Kitchen Showcase’ in
Englewood, Colorado and also for Surroundings, an interior design firm specializing in kitchen and bath design for new, high end, custom homes in the Denver area. After the birth of her daughter in 1998, she took a break from the industry to care for her family. In 1999 the Regan family left
Colorado and moved to Jim’s home state of Massachusetts. In 2002, Mary and Jim started a kitchen remodeling company. After
years of being busy redoing kitchens and baths in the metro-west Boston area; in 2008 Mary and Jim finally realized their dream
when they opened Wayside Kitchens showroom in Littleton, Massachusetts.
Though, originally, a Massachusetts man, Jim started in the construction industry as a carpenter in Colorado. He went on to work for a millwork finish company in Denver that specialized in interior finishes for commercial spaces. Some of his clients there were familiar names, such as The Cheesecake Factory and Starbucks. Jim has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years and for 20 of those years has specialized in kitchen and bathroom remodeling. After moving back to his home state in 1999, he became a licensed general contractor. And in 2002, along with Mary, they formed Wayside Kitchens, a kitchen remodeling company.
Jim’s commitment to quality work and attention to detail is evident, as is his technical expertise. Jim’s ability to problem-solve, ensures seamless cabinet installation. He knows that our clients will look at his work every day for many years to come, so, he approaches every job with the same care and dedication as if he was working on his own home.
