Let's have a little fun
Jim and I are going to dive into the video world. Why not? Social Media is full of people sharing stories and sharing what they do. We have decided to give it a try. Let us know what you think. We are not actors or try to play one. We want to share what we go through. Should we do it? #JimRegan #MaryRegan #ElmwoodCabinets #waysidekitchens #whitecabinets #whitekitchens

What's in a picture
Earlier this year Jim and I decided to have our pictures taken. It was long overdue. The pictures of us on our website were close to ten years old. A lot has happened in ten years. Not only are we a bit older, but we are a lot wiser. Our experience has grown with us. It made me think of how we got to where we are. The good and the bad times. We have managed to grow our company with many unpredictable twists and turns. The main reason we are successful is because of o

Antique Kitchen Renovation in Groton, MA
We were contacted by our Groton clients during the very early stages of the design process. They owned an antique home near the town center that had a small, old kitchen with no room to grow. The clients were open to the option of moving the kitchen to another area of the home to accommodate a larger kitchen with a mudroom, laundry, and Butler's pantry. One of the requirements was to incorporate the large brick fireplace and make it feel as if it was part of the kitchen fo

A behind the scenes look at our Hopkinton project
For 3 years our daughters played hockey on the same team. We were approached by this busy hockey family of 6 to renovate their kitchen. When we visited the house it was obvious to us that the kitchen was in need of an update. The old kitchen didn’t fit the house or the homeowner’s lifestyle. The secluded neighborhood in Hopkinton, MA was a prime location. Our clients wanted to update the kitchen and enjoy it for the next 5 years when they were planning to sell the home a

Sometimes change is good
Sometimes change is good. A closer look at our Littleton, MA project This newer home was built on farmland that had been in the family for years. This colonial was in need of a kitchen facelift. The original kitchen was light oak with a peninsula dividing the eating area and the kitchen. There was a soffit over the wall cabinets that, unknown to us hid pipes and wiring. The refrigerator wall was not being utilized properly and there was plenty of room for storage. Our c

A fitting new kitchen for a beautiful antique home
Backstory: This project is dear to our hearts because this client was the first person who walked through our door as a potential client when we opened our showroom. It took them a few years to finally move forward with the project, but we appreciate their loyalty and trust. This beautiful antique home was built in 1900. It sits on one of Littleton’s main streets and it’s a home we have come to love over the years. When we were asked to remodel the kitchen we were both honore

A closer look at our West Acton project
Design challenges: This 1860 antique colonial is located in the historical district near the heart of West Acton, MA. When we were contacted by this client they had talked to numerous contractors and kitchen centers in the area looking for solutions to their old home. The home was built on a small lot and making foot print changes to the structure was not possible. We had to be creative with our space planning. The client had specific requirements for the project. They wanted
